IMG_20170215_124339 (2)Ahoj! My name is Jessica Schmidt. I am 19 years old and I’m from Germany. Currently I work as a EVS (Europen Voluntary Service) volunteer mainly in Circus LeGrando and Youth Club Legato.  I have just finish Highschool and I want to use time before I start studying at university to gain new experiences, try new things and to learn about myself and my goals in life.

My  regulary work is to assist in the circus lessons with kids, often I prepair the games for the beginnung of the lesson , help other trainers with their disziplin or lead the unicycle group. I have more then 5 years experience in teaching unicycle (and unicycle hockey) but here I also get to know a lot of new circus disziplines. I enjoy the variety of the circus disziplines in LeGrando and try to learn as much as possible!

After the spring holidays I will offer here in Leagato Unicycle hockey everyone is welcome to join!!

I am also trying to learn Czech,  it is so difficult…

I am looking forward to the rest of the year, upcoming events and everything around!!

Ahoj! My name is Inga Morawski and I’m from a small town in the north of Germany. Currently, I volunteer at Lávka in Legato, because I felt like leaving my homecountry after school to do something I like would be a good idea . During my one-year-stay in Brno, there is plenty of time to get to know Czech Republic, its language and culture (- I’m really glad that there are so many dogs in Brno).
Until now, I already found good friends from different countries and I like to spend my free time with them, mainly to do the best things existent – walking around, talking and eating.
I also really enjoy my work. Here at Lávka, I take photos of children and teenagers that visit us for school programs or film groups, and I upload them on social media. Every week, there are two different film groups coming, and it can be very interesting to interact with the children, even though we are not always able to communicate verbally. Also, I cut videos, help to prepare and to do whatever needs to be done, like making posters or collages. I constantly learn new things, and it’s a great experience for me.
